Commercial Claims Representative
Job Summary:
Accept and handle all Commercial Lines claims for our Large Accounts Division. This would include taking the initial report from the client, forwarding same to the appropriate carrier, following up to confirm adjuster assignment and client contact and monitoring the claim through closing. Assist the client as needed throughout the process. Maintain thorough and accurate claim data in the Agency Management system on all claims. Coordinate all claim related litigation.
Competencies Required:

Must have an active 220, 440 or 214 insurance license.

Must have 3 or more years of experience with commercial claims.

Must have a working knowledge of all lines of commercial insurance.

Must possess excellent organization and time management skills.

Must demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills.

Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously despite their complexity.

Must be results oriented with the drive to succeed.

Must possess excellent data entry skills.

A working knowledge of the Applied System would be beneficial but not mandatory.
